What is the difference between ClearSpan Bar and Box, and the  EconoGlaze systems?

The ClearSpan Box system includes an Aluminium rafter for greater structural support and a more modern, cleaner finish.  The ClearSpan Bar system can sit on top of timber or metal rafters or purlins.  Its sleek design allows for the top screw to be hidden.  The EconoGlaze system is a simplified version of the ClearSpan Bar and designed to sit on 50mm rafters.

What is included in the Glazing Systems?

The ClearSpan Bar and Box includes all rubbers, fixing screws and 2 end plates with screws per Bar/Box.
The EconoGlaze Bar includes all rubbers and 2 end plates with screws per Bar.  Additional fixing screws can be purchased.
For each system, you would require 2 Edge Spacers for a square/rectangular structure to fill in the ends where the sheet would go.

What lengths do the Glazing Systems come in?

4050mm and 6050mm.  These can be easily cut to suit any lengths within these dimensions.

What colour glazing sheet should I use?

Clear and Grey are both transparent, Diffused Opal is translucent.  Clear will allow the most heat and light transmission, while Grey will allow the least amount of heat.  Diffused Opal will allow plenty of light to come in, and reflect the heat away.   Transmission numbers below:

•     Clear – 91% Light Transmission and 73.5% Heat Transmission

•     Grey – 60% Light Transmission and 69.7% Heat Transmission

•     Opal – 75% Light Transmission and 57.8% Heat Transmission
