The UGS Clearspan Bar system can be mounted directly onto timber, aluminium or steel supporting members such as rafters or purlins. Easy to install, affordable and with the same modern look, the Clearspan Bar is well suited to new builds, or retrofitting onto an existing structure.
Available in 4050mm and 6050mm lengths and can be cut to size.

The Clearspan Bar system is ideal for existing or intended timber structures, shorter spans and a more economical option to the Clearspan Box system. It still keeps the sleek design of the Glazing Box system with the hidden countersunk screws holding the panels in place.
How far can I span the Glazing Bar system?
This depends on your wind zone. With purlin support, you can span up to 1.3m between purlins. If you do not want purlins, the span lengths depend on wind zone and timber rafter size.
